First National Bank and Trust Company is excited to share the roll out of new contactless or “tap” debit cards designed to make everyday spending faster, safer and more convenient. Plus, see our new sleek vertical design that’s as modern as it is functional!
Why you’ll love it:
Our new consumer and business debit cards come equipped with contactless technology, allowing you to simply tap your card at checkout. Don’t worry, if a merchant doesn’t accept tap you can still swipe or insert your card the traditional way.
When you pay with "tap" you’ll enjoy:

- Enhanced security against fraud and card skimmers, especially at gas stations and ATMs
- Continued support from VISA, offering global acceptance and trusted protection
Whether you're buying groceries, filling up your tank, shopping online, dining out or paying monthly bills, your new debit card makes it easier than ever to manage your finances. Payments are also deducted directly from your bank account, so you stay in control.
When will I receive my new card?
You’ll receive your new card the month before your current card expires. For example, if your card expires in December, your new card will arrive in November.
Please note: It will come in a non-branded envelope for security reasons. Follow the activation steps included in the mailer to get started.
Need a tap card sooner? If your current card is lost, stolen or compromised, you can get a replacement instantly at one of our branches - no need to wait for mail delivery!
