Personal & Professional Background
What inspired you to pursue a career in banking?
With a background and passion for ag, I was drawn to agricultural lending because I wanted to help local farmers make sound financial decisions and ensure their operations continue for years to come.

What’s the most memorable client interaction you’ve ever had?
The most memorable interactions are when I meet someone new who shares stories about my relatives who farmed in DeWitt County many years ago. Being a Clinton native, these connections make my work feel deeply personal and rewarding.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone applying for a loan, what would it be?
The best advice I can give is to come as prepared as possible with historical and current financials. The more information you provide, the better we can assist you.
What skills or qualities do you think make someone successful in your role?
Being communicative and open to taking advice from others are essential qualities for success!
Beyond Banking
If you weren’t in banking, what would your dream job be?
My dream job would be to farm full-time. Agriculture is my passion, and I would love to dedicate all my time to it.
What’s the most surprising thing about your job that people wouldn’t expect?
People might be surprised to learn that we handle a wide range of loans, from small personal loans to multimillion-dollar aircraft financing and everything in between.
What is one thing you never leave the house without and why?
I never leave the house without water. Staying hydrated is crucial!
What does a typical Sunday afternoon look like for you?
A typical Sunday afternoon involves grocery shopping and laundry, getting everything ready for the week ahead.
What’s one thing in your office that always sparks a conversation with clients or coworkers?
The pictures I have taken of different locations around DeWitt County always spark conversations and bring a sense of local pride.

Current boards or volunteering you do and why you choose to get involved with those organizations?
I am the Co-Chairman of the DeWitt County Farm Bureau Young Leaders, Associate Director for the DeWitt County Soil and Water Conservation District, and a member of the DeWitt County FSA Committee. I am also a committee member for the DeWitt County Farm Service Agency. I became involved in these organizations to learn more about how they benefit farmers and to grow my network.
Personal Interests & Hobbies
Do you have a hobby or skill that your coworkers/clients don’t know about?
I enjoy hunting morel mushrooms and being outdoors!
What’s a dream destination you’d love to travel to and why?
My dream vacation would be a road trip out west to visit as many national parks as possible. The natural beauty and diversity of the parks are incredibly appealing to me.
What’s your favorite local small business to support and why?
My favorite local business is Cinco De Mayo. I love Mexican food, and the quality and flavors are always top-notch!
