Clinton, Ill., November 9, 2018 -First National Bank and Trust recently donated $2,500 to the Warner Hospital and Health Services. With the assistance of this gift, First National Bank is excited to be a key partner in helping reduce lung cancer in the local area.

"Warner Hospital and Health Services would like to thank First National Bank and Trust for its generous $2,500 donation to assist in our efforts to reduce lung cancer,” said Paul Skowron, Warner Hospital and Health Services, CEO. “These funds will be made available to the community for folks without insurance or other means to participate in the smoking cessation classes which is the first step on the way to reducing lung cancer."

DeWitt County is ranked second in the state for lung cancer deaths. To help fight back, in 2019, Warner Hospital will offer a Freedom from Smoking class, an 8-week course offered through the American Lung Association.

“First National Bank is appreciative for the services provided by the hospital to the residents of DeWitt County. We are excited to assist in the current lung cancer prevention initiatives and to help serve more local patients,” said Josh Shofner, First National Bank and Trust Company, President.
