First National Bank, a Platinum Sponsor of the 2017 DeWitt County Fair with $5,000 Donation

Clinton, IL – First National Bank and Trust Company is proud to announce a donation of $5,000 to the 2017 Farmer City DeWitt County Fair.
Faith, family, farming and financial stewardship are what drive First National Bank to be committed to reinvesting 10 percent of the bank's pre-tax income back into its communities.

First National Bank and Trust Company co-hosted the Little Miss and Queen Pageant on Tuesday, July 18 at the grandstand. The winner was Raeann Huffman of Clinton. FNBT volunteers present were Rachel Costello, Maggie Beitz and Glenna Rogers.
"It was impressive to see the amount of dedication the contests put into this pageant," said Costello. "The ability to participate and sponsor such a motivational and positive event for young women in our community is an honor. Congratulations to the winner, Raeann, but also to all the participants for their hard work!"
FNBT will be the presenting sponsor of the fair on Saturday, July 22. Saturday’s activities include the goat and western horse show along with many other family-friendly events and activities. The Beef, Pork, Open and Chili Cook-Off Contests will run from noon to 4 p.m. and the Tractor & Truck Pull will begin at 5 p.m.
“We are very appreciative of our sponsors, said Fair Association President Rick Corneglio. “Without their generous donations, we would not be able to put on a fair. This year we were able to bring back both harness racing, and the tractor pulls. We also have the livestock shows and the Jr. Kimler Memorial stock car race.”
