Hot Chocolate Reception Planned at Local Bank's New ATM

January 9, 2020

First National Bank and Trust Company will be holding a ribbon cutting for its new 24-hr. drive-up ATM location in partnership with the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday, January 13, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.

Over the Christmas holiday, First National Bank and Trust relocated their ATM from 301 South Grant Street to 604 South Quincy Street in Clinton. The land was purchased in October 2018, knowing that the then vacant lot would become home to a 24-hour drive-up ATM in 2019.

“We feel this location will provide our clients (and other ATM users) easy and secure access to our machine,” said Josh Shofner, President. “Opportunities to acquire property on one of the most popular streets in Clinton do not happen often. We felt it was a great location for growth and the timing was right given we had just sold the Grant Street property.”

First National Bank is proud to have this project completed with locally owned and/or operated companies. From the early engineering work to the site cleanup, it was important to reinvest in local companies. A special thank you to Roger Cyrulik Contracting, Nelson Excavating, Sessions Electric, K&K Graphics, Sugg Enterprises, and Chastain & Associates for the great work throughout the project.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony held at the location of the new ATM held at 9:00 a.m. on January 13, 2020. First National Bank and Trust employees will also be serving hot chocolate for an hour that morning at the 604 South Quincy Street location.

Additionally, First National Bank and Trust announces two new product offerings: business credit cards and personal credit cards. Business credit cards are now available by applying online through the website, or by stopping into the branch and working with a Universal Banker. There will also be four options for personal credit available in early February 2020. Stay tuned on First National Bank’s Facebook page for the announcement of when these are available.
